 | The Zog family The Zog family arrived here at The Milky Way looking for one of the best days out in the galaxy, they absolutelly love it here, so much to see and do, but more importantly their home planet is in a very similar situation to ours, they have been recycling and looking into their enviromental issues for a lot longer than us and have been giving us some helpfull tips on how we can help our own planet. Read more of the articles on our news pages to see how The Milky Way has been going GREEN, improving it's carbon footprint and helping to save the enviroment. |
 | Zog Family This is one of the Zog family helping us with the recycling. As you can see from the picture she is still getting the hang of it! |
 | Recycling at The Milky Way To cut down on paper work in the office we now receive a lot of our monthly bills by email and any paperwork to be disposed of is shredded and sent to the recycling centre. We recycle the old cooking oil from the café, we have a diesel fuelled train which we run on chip fat.
W.E.E at The Milky Way All our old electrical goods (Bulbs, tubes portable electric appliances etc) are kept stored in a spare area until such time we have enough to make it viable to send for recycling.

 | Recycling at The Milky Way For the last 18 months we have been working closely with our staff to come up with a manageable way to recycle all of our waste. We started by purchasing a bailer to enable us to process all of our cardboard and plastic for recycling and installed recycle bins around the site. The next step was to make sure that all of our deliveries, gifts, food and drinks came in recyclable packaging, and we now estimate that we recycle approximately ˝ tonne of cardboard and plastic each month.
