Frequently Asked Questions FAQ
Whilst we don’t actively encourage dogs to come to the park, we’re happy to admit very calm, friendly and well-behaved older dogs with responsible owners - the park is definitely not a suitable place for excitable puppies. Please note that you must have public liability insurance that covers your dog / dogs (normally provided in standard dog insurance policies – annual membership to the Dogs Trust for £25 also provides this cover).
To help us ensure that we’re able to continue to allow dogs into the park, please only bring them if you have no alternative i.e. if you can’t leave them at home or with someone.
We want to continue to accept dogs and in order to do this we need to minimise ill feeling and complaints from other guests, we therefore ask you to think very carefully before bringing large or potentially intimidating dogs to the park.
We make a charge per dog to cover the admin and cleaning costs involved in accepting dogs and to limit the number of dogs on park. During peak times, to ensure that we have space for your dog, please make sure you've booked in advance online.
For the avoidance of doubt, dogs must not be left in any vehicle parked at the park.
All dog owners will be required to sign a form on entry to show that they understand and agree to the following –
I accept that I am responsible for my dog at all times whilst on your premises and that I have my own public liability insurance covering my dog / dogs.
I am confident that my dog / dogs will remain calm in an indoor environment with lots of noise and excited children.
I understand that my dog / dogs must be ALWAYS kept on a SHORT LEAD – indoors and outdoors.
I will not take my dogs to the bird of prey shows, the bird of prey centre, the carpeted play areas or Little Stars.
I will clean up after my dog (poo, wee or vomit, including indoors, seeking staff help to ensure the area is disinfected) – this is a family park.
The management reserve the right to approach your dog / dogs to assess their temperament and any dog showing signs that they could cause potential upset or harm to other guests (especially younger children) will not be admitted or will be asked to leave. This includes excited behaviour, such as excessive barking and jumping up.
Please note that for obvious reasons dogs are not permitted on any rides other than the train!
Any breaches to this policy, will result in you being asked to leave the site.
The majority of the park is open in all weathers!

We are a family adventure park and try to provide attractions that the whole family can enjoy together. We have roller coasters, jumping pillows, dodgems and live shows that teenagers normally enjoy - as long as they aren't expecting Alton Towers they should have an enjoyable day.
It is also worth considering a trip to The North Devon Wake Park, located just at the other end of our car park where, for a separate fee they can try wakeboarding or have a go on the inflatable aqua park.
