Winter

There's always lots of fun to be had at The Milky Way - even in winter! We're open most weekends throughout winter from November to March, as well as through the week in Devon school holidays.

Of all the attractions in Devon and the South West we have perhaps the largest undercover area, with lots and lots to do - dodgems, an interactive ride where you get to save planet earth, laser shooting and huge indoor soft play areas. The whole site including our play areas are heated (using environmentally-friendly Biomass technology), and our lovely cafe and restaurant serve delicous meals and snacks that'll keep you going. Add to this our very popular Sci-Fi exhibit ("from Daleks to Dr Who"), and you can see why The Milky Way is a great choice for winter days.

Most of our outdoor attractions remain open during the winter, as long as we're not experiencing extremes of weather - including our outdoor rides. Please note that there are no bird of prey displays or centre during the winter and we don't offer mini golf - but everything else is open and ready to go! Merlins shows take place most weekends, but please contact us to check days if this is a priority for your visit!
