Birthday Parties at The Milky Way!
Choose The Milky Way for your party - they're out of this world!
At The Milky Way we take the hassle out of birthday parties, making them a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
From the moment you arrive, until the time we close, you can enjoy all the activities and attractions the park has to offer, we’ll also prepare a fantastic birthday lunch!
Birthday Parties are only available to locals, on saturdays and sundays, during Term times
Parties must be booked at least One week in advance using the "check availability and book" button at the bottom of this page

What's Included
- Entry to The Milky Way from when we open until when the park closes! There's so much to do here that we recommend you allow a minimum of 3 hours for your party. For little ones aged up to 6 years, you will also have full access to Little Stars!
- One FREE adult per child at your party
- Choice of party food (see below)
- Unlimited squash
- Downloadable party invites (please scroll to the bottom of the page)
- You can make use of your dedicated party seating area, from the time of your arrival until 2.30pm. Our main party room is above Planet Play but we also have a party room downstairs for wheelchair users (or younger birthday parties with prams) - just let us know which room suits your needs.
- Exclusive Dodgem ride for your party – just join the queue and when you reach the front please tell the operator your name...they will run one exclusive ride just for your party! (Min height to ride 0.8m to 1.2m must be accompanied by an adult; 1.2m and over can drive themselves)
- Designated time slot for your party food, which will be confirmed when you book your party.
A cake is not included, so you can bring your very own Birthday creation and remeber decorations for your tables!

Party Lunch box
Our individual party lunch boxes will include a selection of the following traditional party food items – jam, cheese or ham sandwiches, sausage roll, a bag of crisps, a piece of fruit, and a sweet treat.
Contents may vary slightly according to availability.
Pizza
A selection of freshly baked pizzas with various toppings will be selected by our team and served for your guests to share.
Please note that unfortunately we are unable to mix and match between pizza and lunch box options.
If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

PARTY PRICES & BOOKING
A fun packed Birthday Party at The Milky Way is actually priceless!
STANDARD MILKY WAY PARTY - 1 to 16 years
£10 per child aged 1 to 2 years (Full access to Little Stars included)
£16.95 per child aged 3 to 16 years (Full access to Little Stars included for little ones up to 6 years old)
£8 per child with a valid Annual Pass on the day of the party
ADD NINJA STARS PARTY - £3 per child - 6 to 16 years
- Includes wristband and 2 games on Ninja Stars!
ADD Pottery painting - £3 per child - 4 to 16 years
- Includes - Allocated time slot for pottery painting in our new pottery painting area
- An 8 inch (20cm) plate for children to paint their own design, or they can choose a pre-stencilled design!
- Apron, paints, glitter and paintbrushes
(Refreshments are availiable in the pottery area so big children (adults) can catch a coffee, and your breath, whilst the children sit, paint and chat!
ADD Penalty shoot out - £2.50 per child - all ages
- Includes - 5 penalties (best three count for points total)
- Printed certificate of acheivement
- Trophy for the highest penalty scorer!
ADULTS & SIBLINGS
Adults and siblings of the party goers are welcome to join your party. One adult per party child at your party can attend for free, any extra adults or siblings will be charged at our discounted readmission rate (click here to view our readmission ticket prices). Payment is taken for extra adults and siblings on the day of the party.
only a small Deposit required to secure Party booking
A £5 deposit is payable for each child to confirm your booking – the remaining balance will be payable when you arrive.
Please book for the maximum number of guests you are inviting - if your final numbers are less, we will deduct the entire deposit from your final bill. Please note, you will be charged for the minimum requirement of 8 children.
We will contact you the week before your party, to confirm your final numbers and requirements.
BESPOKE PARTY GIFT FOR YOUR GUESTS
Fed up with putting together party bags only to be greeted with disappointed faces? For just £5 per guest, we can provide a no hassle, bespoke Party Gift that's guaranteed to bring happiness to your party guests! Not only will they receive a voucher that entitles one person to return for free to The Milky Way, they will also get the chance to choose their own gifts, with a £5 voucher to spend in The Milky Way shop!
£5 voucher to redeem in The Milky Way shop only. No change given - voucher cannot be redeemed for cash.
Free return ticket for future term time visits only and must be booked online in advance - see "Complimentary Entry Ticket Holders" on our website.
MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM PARTY NUMBERS
The minimum number of children you can book for is 8. Most of our party slots cater for a maximum of 16 children - however, some slots will cater for less than 16. When you click to book you will find a drop down menu where you select the number of children - if a slot can only take 10 children you simply won't be able to select more than this.
LARGE PARTIES 17+
If you have more than 16 children and there are at least two times to eat left on the day you would like to book we MAY be able to combine two slots for you - please contact us before booking.
