The Milky Way Story: 40 Years of Family-Run Fun

Founded in 1984 by Trevor Stanbury MBE, The Milky Way remains a proudly independent, family-owned and run business. Our park was born from necessity  when our farming business faced financial ruin following the introduction of Milk Quotas in 1984. Today, the most important thing to all of us at The Milky Way is that our visitors (no matter how old they are – from 0 to 100+!) have a fantastic day out, and one that’s great value - virtually all our attractions are included in the one entrance fee. We aim to offer a super friendly experience – without the queues you would expect to find at many parks. Our unique blend of entertainment has been intentionally and thoughtfully designed to encourage families to spend time having fun together – whatever the weather.
